Taalim School offers formal instruction (private and group) in Tabla and Kathak. Our dance and music classes are taught by qualified teachers with many years of teaching experience.  In-person lessons are offered in over 15+ locations* across New Jersey, New York, Connecticut, and Virginia.  Online lessons are also available worldwide.

Enrollment in all of our classes is ongoing and classes are NOT segmented by playing level. It is common to have students of different ages and backgrounds in one class – this is intentional as it helps students experience the art form from multiple perspectives.

The faculty show students how love of music and the arts can transcend all barriers. The pursuit of excellence is expected and even demanded, but in a nurturing and constructive way that builds self esteem and resilience.
