COMMUNITY OUTREACH

The Taalim School is available to visit schools, universities, libraries and community centers across the country, to present musical programs and educational classes for audiences of all ages. 

School Programs:  Grades K to 12

Taalim School faculty members conduct fun, educational and interactive music workshops, lectures, demonstrations and classes for grades K to 12.  Our events are catered to the specific age group.  Topics include:  Indian Classical Music, Percussion Instruments of India,  Rhythm in Dance, Rhythms of Bollywood, and History of Tabla.  To get more information about scheduling a workshop or demonstration at your school, contact the Taalim School.

University:  Master Classes and Residencies

Faculty of Taalim School are frequent visitors to college campuses across the country, where they conduct master classes, seminars, and residencies.  Taalim instructors teach intensive seminars in Indian Classical Percussion, Classical Music Appreciation, Concepts of Taal and Laya, and Legendary Maestros of Indian Classical Music.  To get more information about scheduling an event, contact the Taalim School.

Community Events: Spreading Indian Music to the Local Community
